I'm new to the app. I have 8+ world maps stacked on top of each other. How can I get rid of the extra maps? This is slowing my computer way down. I have an HP Pavilion laptop, I-7 10th gen, max ram, 500gb ssd drive, Windows 10 Home.

Ok thanks for posting the screenshot… this is not an issue, you are zoomed out. Zoom in one to two levels and the map will fill in. Those northern tiles are just repeating.
Also, you have your watchlist group in isolate view mode (blue) so only those aircraft in that group will show on the map.
